This has helped in choosing the treatments, as well as helping to visualize what the finished window treatments will look like. It is a great way to explore some of the many treatment options at the beginning of a project.

Do you have a room that needs to be finished or updated, but you are not sure how or were to begin?
The easiest way to get started is to start looking for inspiration. Something that can be used as a road map for the room. This inspiration can come from a photo from a magazine, a piece of wall art, an area rug, or a great fabric.

This can help to set the theme for the room as well as the colors and style of the room. Once you have this road map we know what direction to go in to complete the project. And having this road map will help in the shopping and selecting phases of the project.

Now that you are inspired, and you have your road map, what comes next? Many of my clients are taking advantage of a Decorating Master Plan. This allows for us to prioritize your project and plan it out in stages. The key to a good master plan is that the room look good at each phase of the project and not like an unfinished room.
